The American Federation of Teachers (AFT) consistently reports that student mental health issues directly impact academic success and are a top concern for teachers managing classrooms.
Further, over 75% of teachers say their own stress and mental health affect their teaching and connection with students (RAND State of the American Teacher).
The certification equips K-5 teachers with evidence-based strategies for supporting student mental well-being through social-emotional learning, mindfulness, and positive classroom culture.
By completing this certification, teachers not only gain effective tools to help students thrive but also learn practices that enhance their own well-being, helping them manage stress, cultivate resilience, and find renewed satisfaction in their work.
